How we handle personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Who We Are
Telligent Solutions (Pty) Ltd is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website. Our Information Officer is Duncan Abrahams, who can be reached at [email protected].
What We Collect
- Enquiries: the name, email address, company, phone number and message you send us through the contact form or by email.
- Meetings: the details you enter when you book a call through our scheduling link, which is provided by Google.
- Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time), kept for security and troubleshooting. To limit repeat submissions, we store a one-way hash of your IP address alongside form enquiries.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. A single session cookie protects the contact form against forgery and is deleted when you close your browser.
Why We Use It
We process your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange and hold meetings, provide services you’ve asked for, and keep this website secure. The lawful bases are your consent, steps needed to enter into or perform a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running and protecting our business.
Who We Share It With
We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as email, hosting and scheduling providers) under appropriate safeguards, with other companies in the Telligent Solutions Group where needed to deliver a service you’ve requested, or where the law requires it. Some of these providers store data outside South Africa; where that happens we rely on the protections POPIA allows for cross-border transfers.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards for the periods required by tax and company law.
How We Protect It
We apply the same controls we implement for clients: encrypted connections, restricted access, multi-factor authentication on the systems we use, and secure backups. If we become aware of a security compromise affecting your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
Your Rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its processing, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
